Another little tag..
This one I took Tim Holtz Distress ink pads with the sponge applicator.
First with Peeled Paint
Then over it with Frayed Burlap
The edges with Walnut Stain
Sprayed with Copper/Pumpkin colored Tattered Angels Glimmer mist.
The Tree is a Claudine Hellmuth Foam stamp. Stamped it with Ranger Ink White paint dauber.
Pretty simple. And you know, no two tags even using the same color of inks ever come out the same.
I only use the Tim Holtz Distress inks. They blend well and I have always loved the aged look that they give.
I haven't much played with the Tattered Angels Glimmer mist sprays. The ones I am using now I had for years and they do not make them anymore. But the Tattered Angels seems to work just as well.
I find I also like the use the paint dabbers. They can give a great dimensional look, and they work with rubber stamps as well as the foam ones.
Here's a different Angle, you can see the colors a little better..
